The Shore of the Dead

An exile following the disaster at Sigtun, Beowulf heads north. But king Hythcyn’s intrigues have thrust a flaming brand into the delicate balance of power in the region, setting a series of events in motion that quickly spiral out of control.

In Danmark, Grendel attacks the king’s hall, slaughtering at will. Oðin steers the Geatish champion towards lifting the curse, but with the monster slain, Beowulf discovers that his victory was just the beginning. The All-father has a far more powerful enemy to defeat, and he needs his help to do so.
